  • Dog Camp 2025 UPDATED!

    Our 2024 dog camp was a huge hit! Dog Camp will run April 4-6. RV's may arrive the day prior. This is dry camping on a beautiful Arizona Ranch. We will provide sweet pastries fro breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and a full dinner menu from our grill. Three days of everything dog. Great information, great memories, great swag (The BEST SWAG!), and great friends! We will have trainers from diverse training backgrounds in to teach us what they know best. A true camp experience, we invite you to bring an RV and stay for the duration. We will also look at partnering with a nearby boutique, dog-friendly hotel for those without RVs. You'll be close enough, you won't miss a thing! At this point, all spots will be working spots, with a maximum of 12. Prices: $465 all-included In store for 2025: Barnhunt, fast cat, Guest trainers.   • Trick class - with optional AKC Title

    Want to teach your dog some great tricks? In this class we will introduce and work on multiple tricks per week, so you will have plenty of tricks to choose from. Some of the tricks we will offer, include, bow, give kisses, high five, crawl, and more. This is a fun class for any age dog, and a great introduction to training for kids! Class will run for five weeks. Class will be taught by Paige Humphrey Class start time is 5:30 pm beginning Tuesday March 11 th Class cost is $180 You may pay online via credit card, or in person with cash or check. We cannot take credit cards in person. Trick titles will be available on the last day of class for those that may want them. please inform Paige on the first day of class which title you are seeking so that she can tailor tricks to that level.

  • Basic Lifeskills

    Through games, play, and an understanding of what motivates our dogs to do the things they do, we will begin to create a lifelong relationship based on mutual enjoyment. We solve the problems that you're struggling with! Pulling, jumping up, lunging and barking can all be resolved through games and play - We will teach the dog to choose other behaviors and because they chose them, they will continue to want to do them! We train relationships and mutual joy. We want you to be as much the center of your dog's life as we want them to be the center of yours.     In this class we will build the all-important foundation skills required to have a stable, bold, dog capable of doing whatever you have in mind. In this class we will discuss drive building, focus building, skill building for strong body awareness, warm up and cool down protocols, play building, proofing against distractions, and so much more! This class is designed for any dog or puppy whose lifestyle requires confidence, drive, and precision Class begins Monday September 16 at 7 pm. Class runs for 5 weeks, and costs $180

    We offer online options for many training issues (excluding aggression). While we feel strongly in the value of a hands-on approach, we also know that for various reasons that is not always available.   • Private Herding Lessons

    We can help you train your dog the beautiful and challenging sport of herding. We offer private herding classes on a one-on-one basis using sheep. This is a Safety First Class. Sheep safety will be taken very seriously. Whether you want to trial, or just see what your dog has, we can accommodate your needs, as well as your dog's learning style. We explain everything carefully, and your dog's enthusiasm and joy are absolutely essential and will be safeguarded. We strongly urge everyone who has not done so to attend a beginner Stockdog Workshop first to help set the stage. This will give the human half of the team a better understanding of what we are looking for in our stock dogs, and provide a clearer picture of our goals.   • Introduction to Scentwork (AKC focus)

    In this class we will pair scent with reward; explain how scent works; and practice multiple hides, starting with simple hides and working our way up to more complex hides. We will practice hides for AKC, ASCA and NACSW. We will discuss relevant rules for each club of interest - focusing primarily on AKC and ASCA Everyone will be provided four scented q-tips in a scent canister. Class will begin March 24th at 6 pm and will run for 5 weeks

  • Rally and Obedience Drop-in

    Text for current times and days We set a rally course with signs Novice-Master. This is a friendly, low-key and supportive group. Whether you just need to practice obedience skills in the presence of other dogs and people, or want to try or advance in the sport of rally, this two-hour drop in is a great opportunity to practice in a supportive environment. Dogs are currently using this class to train for: IGP obedience, BH obedience, AKC and ASCA obedience, and rally (We have both sets of signs) If you wish to practice a specific sign (ASCA or AKC) text ahead (520) 940-4453 and send us the sign(s) you'd like us to set out.
